Where do you currently live?

I live in Naugatuck, CT

What is your current job/year in school?

I’m a retired Chef, most recently an Executive Chef at a Continued Care Retirement Community.

What was your educational path after graduating from St. Mary School?

After graduating, I attended Notre Dame High School in West Haven CT. I then attended The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park New York.

What volunteer efforts are you involved with?

I’m currently involved with supporting and counseling recovering alcoholics and drug addicts.

Can you tell me about any clubs or sports you are involved with at college?

I wasn’t much of an athlete in College, I spent my extra time working at nearby Vassar College in the kitchen preparing food for the students and staff.

Do you feel SMS provided you with a foundation for your future?

St Mary’s provided me all the tools I would need to be successful in High School and College. I was fortunate to learn the morals and principles a young man needs to follow the right path to a bright future.

What are some of your favorite memories of SMS?

We went to New York and saw the New York Mets play at Shea Stadium, Willie Mays played that day. One of the many field trips we used to take. I was on the basketball team and also served as an Altar boy.

What are your plans for the future?

My plans for the future are to enjoy retirement and continue volunteering to help others that need or want it.

What advice can you give to our students?

Know that you’re never alone, God is always with you. The key is to align your will with his.
