ALL Students of Preschool through Grade 8 must be in complete uniform at all times, including traveling to and from school. If a legitimate medical reason necessitates that a student not be in complete uniform, a written note from a physician is necessary. The alternative uniform item must resemble the prescribed item as closely as possible.
NEW: ALL students can wear the St. Mary navy blue hooded sweatshirts with their last name on the back, but only on the days that they have PE. 8th grade students have the privilege of wearing those sweatshirts everyday. This is the hooded sweatshirt with logo or basketball on chest and last name across the back NOT any of the other spirit wears sweatshirts.

- Permitted sweatshirts are outlined under Cold Weather Options in the Uniform Policy.
- Shirts must always be tucked in.
- If an undershirt is worn, it MUST be white.
- Hair must be properly groomed.
- Make-up is not allowed for girls in grades K-7; only clear lip balm. Girls in grade 8 may wear light, subtle makeup.
- Temporary tattoos are not allowed.
- All hair color must appear natural.
- Girls may wear studs or small hoop earrings.
- Boys may not wear earrings.
- Boys shall be clean-shaven.
