Ms. Gossett was born in and currently lives in Milford. She graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor and concentration in Psychology, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching from SHU.

She student taught and interned at Race Brook School in Orange, CT. She has lots of experience working with children from working at the YMCA after school program in the Milford Public Schools to working at the YMCA summer camps. This past summer she worked as a 3rd Grade Special Education Summer School Teacher for the Orange Public Schools.

While at SHU, she was a Residential Assistant (RA) for college freshmen and helped them transition and grow in the start of their college careers. In her free time you can always find her paddle boarding at the beach! And, she is also a huge Disney fan.
