Mr. Mark Hyduk, previously an Administrative Assistant at St. Mary School, is very excited to be starting in his new role as St. Mary’s Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director. He is a graduate of Nichols College where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus in sports management and coaching management and has 12 years’ experience in Catholic education. He is an assistant boys Basketball Coach at Notre Dame West Haven Prep School Team, and has coached both high school boys’ basketball and baseball, so he brings to this position a lot experience in sports management.

In his free time he enjoys watching/playing sports and spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Hyduk is a HUGE sports fan and you will find him spending his weekends during football season supporting his beloved Eagles, as well as the University of Notre Dame’s sports teams. He is the youngest of four siblings, who all have moved out to South Bend, Indiana, so ND football is in his family’s heart.  Mr. Hyduk currently lives in Wallingford with his wife and dog (Carson).
