Janet Adler has been teaching Grade 5 at St. Mary School since September 1998. She teaches Math and Science, as well as Reading, Religion, Spelling and Family Life. Mrs. Adler attended St. Mary High School in New Haven, and is a graduate of Salve Regina University, Newport, RI with a BS degree in Elementary Education and a BS degree in Special Education.

Mrs. Adler enjoys vacationing, spending time with family, reading and dining out with friends.

“My favorite things about teaching at SMS are feeling like I am part of the school family, watching my students grow and succeed and the enjoyment of working daily with such dedicated staff and administration. Our daily lessons stretch beyond the textbook, to educating every student not only in curriculum topics, but guiding them to make moral decisions and to Live the Message of Jesus. This foundation will remain with them when one day they leave our school and move forward.”
