Miss Ashley Mendillo is so excited to join the SMS community and looks forward to having a very successful year. She grew up in Milford and has lived here her whole life! She is currently very involved in the Milford Little League. Softball is her passion and brings her so much joy, not only to teach the game but also to guide the players off the field as well.  She has worked extensively with children ages 4-11 in this capacity.

Ms. Mendillo graduated from Franklin Pierce University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Studies. She has always loved working with children, especially in a classroom setting!  She has vast experience throughout numerous schools in New England performing not only her observational hours, but also working as a paraprofessional in a for a Connecticut school district, where she worked closely with several students in the fourth grade who had IEPs.  While working with these students, she fell in love with the profession and knew it was exactly where she needed to be.

Ms. Mendillo is the oldest of four children in her family so she especially loves the close knit community of Milford and SMS.  She has a dog named Honey and four bunnies named Daisy, Delilah, Petunia, and Lily. She loves animals! In her spare time you can find her playing softball, doing an art project, or in the middle of a sunflower field.  She is so excited to be a part of the amazing SMS family!
