Born and raised on Long Island, she graduated from St. John’s University with a B.A. in elementary education, then received her Masters in early childhood. She is certified in New York, as well as in Connecticut, to teach grades K through 6. Anne also has a state middle school math certification from Quinnipiac University.

Mrs. Kiernan was also a substitute teacher in the Milford Public Schools, and taught full time grades 4 – 6 in Catholic schools in New York City.

Anne loves spending quality time with her four children, such as enjoying Milford’s beaches. She also enjoys watching and cheering them on at all their sporting activities.  She volunteers to teach Faith Formation and co-leads her daughter’s Girl Scout troop.
