Where do you currently live?

I currently live in Milford, CT

What is your current job/year in school?

What was your educational path after graduating from St. Mary School?

After St. Marys, I attended Lauralton Hall High School where I played basketball and volleyball. I attended Southern CT State University where I received both my BS and MS in Sociology. I continued my education at University of Bridgeport where I received my Masters in Elementary Education. I interned at Milford Police Department while getting my sociology degree and then did an internship at John F. Kennedy Elementary School while pursuing my Elementary Degree. I student taught at Orchard Hills Elementary School in Kindergarten and was a substitute teacher in the Milford Public School system. I also taught Preschool in Milford.

How do you feel SMS prepared you academically?

St. Marys prepared me for the academic rigor of a College Prep High School and then my college career. I was mentally prepared for the work that was given and knew that if I stayed focused, I could accomplish any goal I would set for myself.

Do you feel SMS provided you with a foundation for your future?

Absolutely! St. Mary's provided a foundation in my Faith alongside my family, as well as the foundation for an academic career. I knew that I could compete alongside my peers and be prepared for life's journey.

What are some of your favorite memories of SMS?

There are so many amazing memories I have from St. Marys! Christmas concerts, the carnival, and of course the basketball tournament since I played on the SMS girls basketball team. I also loved the Foul Shooting Contest that St. Marys held.

What are your plans for the future?

I hope to continue my teaching career at St. Marys building a foundation for future alum! When I walked in the doors again at SMS, it felt as if I was back home. It was comfortable, welcoming, and a complete sense of joy. I hope to continue to make the students of St. Marys feel the same as I do.

What advice can you give to our students?

Continue to build your Faith and relationship with Jesus daily. Never stop praying or being thankful for all he provides. It is a solid foundation to live on and your life will be enriched and fuller for having the Christian Faith that St. Marys instills in you. "With God all things are possible" Matthew 19:26
