Michael P. Lynch

Class of 2001

Where do you currently live?

What is your current job/year in school?

I am an attorney/partner at the law firm of Lynch, Trembicki & Boynton

What was your educational path after graduating from St. Mary School?

Upon graduating from SMS in 2001, I attended Notre Dame High School in West Haven for my freshman year, and then decided to transfer to Foran High School. While at Foran, I served as Class President, and then went on to study history and political science at Fairfield University. I then attended law school at Quinnipiac University School of Law, where I also met my wife, Alyssa.

How do you feel SMS prepared you academically?

SMS was always a fun learning experience, and I received a great education. I was fortunate to attend SMS with my two sisters and a few of our cousins, so it was always nice to be able to experience SMS with family, as well as friends. Today, I am fortunate to assist former classmates and their families with their legal needs, and now our son is in the Pre-K, so it’s nice to be back on campus for the morning drop-off.

What are some of your favorite memories of SMS?

I loved the annual carnival and basketball tournament, as well as the ski and drama clubs.

What are your plans for the future?

My wife Alyssa and I have two young children, Parker and Sloane, so our focus is to make sure that they can have the same life and educational experiences that we were both fortunate to have while growing up.

What advice can you give to our students?

To (re)quote my Foran High School senior yearbook, “Study hard. Work hard. Play hard.”
